Star Wars Console Experience

This is a console based multimedia experience promoting the release of Star Wars: the force awakens, done for Xbox and Disney.

Millions of Xbox users viewed the promotion on their console, as a 10 foot TV experience. Users can navigate to purchase the movie, view slideshows and exclusive behind the scenes content, and special deals.

Promotions like this typically just involved a static background and no sound. I worked closely with the development team to build a custom experience with a video background and the iconic theme music. The Millennium Falcon swoops by and BB8 peeks between the tiles, rolling behind them.

I made the background video in After Effects, composing multiple elements from Disney, and designed the entire experience, along with redline guidance for the devs to build everything out to match the typical Xbox console interface for a seamless experience.
